Monthly meetings

The Society holds regular meetings on the 1^st Monday of each month at 7:30pm.  Programs and meetings are held (with rare exceptions) at the Stephentown Heritage Center.  Meetings typically start with a short business meeting followed by a speaker on a topic of historical interest.  The July and December meetings include a pot luck supper and start at 6:30pm.  Programs are arranged by the Program Chairperson and the Program Committee.

Field Trips

Trips to local and regional events and sites are arranged sporadically, as events, exhibits, and ideas present themselves.  Trips are listed with the monthly meetings (above).

Community-Wide Events

The Historical Society organizes several community events each year.  Typically they are a mix of fund-raising and the educational.  Some are organized cooperatively with businesses and other organizations in town.
