This "History of Stephentown, Rensselaer County, New York With Illustrations and Biographical Sketches of It's Prominent Men and Pioneers" is a republication of the 1880 work of Nathaniel Bartlett Sylvester. Originally published by Everts & Peck, Philadelphia.  This printing includes a name index added by the Society.  Sylvester also authored "Historical Sketches of Northern New York and the Adirondack Wilderness" and "History of Saratoga County, New York"
