The first Album opens with a short history of the town authored by Janet Atwater.  What follows is a gathering of pictures from the earliest years of photography up to the publication date in 1977.  Pictures include street scenes and countryside panoramics, homes, farms, and commercial establishments, automobiles, the railroad, and horses pulling all sorts of equipment, schools and classes, and a flood.
