​These 19th century buildings have been recreated from period photographs.  The Stephentown Hotel pencil drawing is by Richard Fiske of New Lebanon.  The Cranston Mansion oil painting is by Julie Cranston of Discovery Bay, California.  The Vanderbilt House watercolor is by Lillian Dette of Stephentown.  This 2009 issue commemorates the 225th anniversary of the town's founding.
